Veeda goes for sex roles

USA-based Ghanaian actress and musician, Veeda, is making a return to the silverscreens in a new movie titled, ‘Vengeance Is Mine,’ years after she has been missing in action.

Veeda, the winner of Miss Ghana USA 2002, is gifted with beauty, sex appeal and blessed with a myriad of talents. She lost touch with her fan base for a while and news of her comeback has sparked some excitement.

The new movie tells the story of Christy, a God-fearing woman whose faith is tested through betrayal, lies and abandonment. Veeda, a femme fatale, is her nemesis, and will stop at nothing to reduce Christy to an empty, broken soul.

Veeda, in the movie, gets bonked by everyone she comes in contact with. She uses sex as a tool to manipulate the men around her, including her step father, and as a way to get Christy to pay the ultimate price.

‘Vengeance Is Mine’ is a powerful narrative of the human experience.

Veeda, born Vida Darko, put up a seductive performance in the movie produced by Christina Collins. The new movie is her second production.

She told entertainment journalists over the weekend that she hopes to make an impact with the new movie which would be hitting the big screens very soon.

Christina Collins, who acted in the movie, is also a Ghanaian actress, writer, director and producer based in the USA.

She is a co-host of African Lifestyle, a weekly cable television magazine show which features the nuances of the “African” lifestyle, history and culture of the African nations.
