Popular actor, Abeiku Nyame, aka Jagga Pee, has received an amount of GHC6,500 from the management of End Point Homeopathic Clinic and Peace FM's "Entertainment Review" crew.
The veteran actor, who was in the studio of Peace FM to share his sad story on the Entertainment Review show hosted by Akwasi Aboagye received a cheque of GHC5,000 and an amount of GHC1,500 from the management of the clinic and staff of the station respectively.
Jaga Pee made a passionate appeal to President Mahama to support him financially to enable him pay his hospital bills, after he disclosed that he is suffering from enlargement of the heart or cardiomegaly.
An enlarged heart is medically known as cardiomegaly. Cardiomegaly can be caused by a number of different conditions, including diseases of the heart muscle or heart valves, high blood pressure, arrhythmias, and pulmonary hypertension.
He explained, he has so far failed to pay the hospital bills estimated at GHC2,500.00 meant for pending medical bill at both Holy Trinity Hospital and the 37 military hospital.
He also added that he is yet to undergo review to determine if he has to go through surgery or not.
