The Kasapreko African Legend Night beckons and just as last year’s edition of the event was great, one can expect that of this year’s to be a double dose of fun and memorable sights as Ben Brako is going to be performing alongside a living legend of our time, Hugh Masekela on the night.
Ben Brako has been around for a long time and his works over the years have spoken for him. He has put Ghana high on the map and thus, the organizers want to give their audience a double portion of what they had last year.
I caught up with ‘Uncle Ben’ as he is fondly called recently to ask him what his fans and lovers of good music should expect on the night, and he extensively poured out his thoughts, he touched on all spheres of the genre of music he has being part of all his life and then when asked to talk about the man Hugh Masekela, whom he will be performing alongside with after doing his own solo performance on the night, he bared it all out in one card, ‘…he is one of the phenomenal in African music’.
Come Saturday the 22nd September, the Kasapreko African Legend Night will come alive on its second edition at the State Banquet Hall. It will be a night of unique continental blend of music, harmony, dance and excitement. It will be a night where the legendary African music icon Hugh Masekela will be rocking the hearts of those who understand the true rudiment of music. He will be supported by the Big Brother Star Lady May, Ben Brako, Steve Bedi, Bertha and hosted by one of Ghana’s finest and most-sought-after satirist, KSM.
