Talented Actor Majid Michel has made a shocking revelation about an unusual condition with his voice.
Majid who appeared on Peace FM's "Entertainment Review" as a special guest over the weekend, got his fans and listeners of the show worried over his voice when he virtually struggles to speak when host of the show Kwasi Aboagye ask him questions.
After several comments from listeners of the show and questions from the host and panel members of the show, Majid Michel decided to finally open up out what is really wrong with his voice.
Majid revealed that he has had a problem with his voice for over two years now and even though he has being looking for a medical solution to the problem, doctors have still not been able to diagnose what is really wrong with his voice.
"I don't know what is wrong with my voice. I have checked at Korle-bu and 37 Military hospitals and they all said there is nothing wrong with my voice. They have checked my throat and everything is perfect".
Recounting how the strange condition with his voice stated, Majid said "Over two years ago, I was travelling and then suddenly my voice started breaking and it's been like this for over two years now".
Asked if his current condition has affected his acting career and his delivery on set, Majid admitted that it has affected him "very much" and he spoke about how he is able to work with his broken voice on set.
"I really prepare so I don't talk throughout and I save my voice till the take". Majid also added that people who would watch the latest movie he has starred in "Amakye and Dede", would see clearly that he has a problem with his voice.
However, Majid also revealed that for some strange reason if he gets a microphone with loud speakers, his voice sounds normal. "But It's funny if I have a microphone with speakers it comes and if am giving a public talk or giving a public speech but speaking to you like this or on telephone, is worse. You won't hear me when you call me on phone so you have to text".
The "Agony of Christ" actor said when he is speaking it feels like he runs out of breath easily, so he has to force air up from his lungs to the vocal cords but the air feels like it's hard to come.
