Celebrities announcing their support for political parties has been talked about on several occasions in the country.
Whilst some argue that entertainers should not engage in political activities, others strongly believe that it is their right as citizens of the country so there is nothing wrong for them to exercise their political right as Ghanaians.
Due to this argument, many are in a confused state thinking of whether to join the few stars who have taken cash from political parties or not. Kumawood actress cum movie producer, Tracey Boakye has already made up her mind to join John Dumelo, Ola Michael, Mzbel and others to campaign for president John Dramani Mahama and NDC ahead of this year’s election.
The mother of one in the new commercial video is seen proclaiming the good works of the president. The actress in the short video praises the president to a fellow who was about to destroy the campaign posters of the first gentleman of the land.
Tracey reminded the lady some of the good infrastructures the president has put up in the Ashanti Region which tells that he has a lot for the region if he is given another four years during this year’s general election.
Tracey Boakye publicly proclaiming her support for the president has shocked many who have watched the video after it was posted on social media.
These critics could not fathom why she would advertise for NDC when her colleague actors have kept quiet refraining from such endorsement.
Tracey is an actress cum movie producer who has many movies to her credit. She produced ‘Ama Saman’, ‘Afrakomah’, ‘Odo’ among others.
