Video: Many people find God in prison - Kwaw Kese

Hiplife artiste Emmanuel Botchwey a.k.a Kwaw Kese, has given a revealing account of how he fared in prison, after he was arrested for allegedly smoking Indian hemp in public.

Speaking on Peace FM, Kwaw Kese said the moment he entered the cell was like a movie and a dream because he never expected to find himself in prison.

He added that, initially, when he was arrested, he thought everything would be over the following day, but it did not happen that way.

Kwaw, whose court case has been adjourned to early next month, said prison is where many people find God.

According to him, prisoners wake up early everyday to pray...both Christians and Muslims. He disclosed that when he first entered the cell, the cell leader approached him and asked the other prisoners not to mess with the hiplife artiste.

He said the cell leader took him to his chamber, which looked quite comfortable as compared to the main cell.

Kwaw also explained that the inmates themselves thought he (Kwaw) did not deserve to be in prison.

"...so while I was praying for them to get out of prison, they were also praying for me to be granted bail," he revealed.
