CONTROVERSIAL Ghanaian rapper, Wanlove, has waded into the issue of the country's economic mismanagement, strongly attacking the John Mahama's NDC administration for creating a confused and a hopeless state of affairs for the people of the country.

In his latest controversial song, which features Gemini, and trending on social media, the musician took the government, led by President Mahama, to the cleaners, accusing it of ineptitude that had led to the collapse of virtually everything in the country.

The video clip of the song, which can be accessed on https//youtu.be/Q-qXhaANVRQ, perfectly portrays how Ghanaians are living under the maladministration of President Mahama. It vividly describes the effects of ‘dumsor’ on the businesses, as well as the reaction of the people.

In the song, Wanlov urges the President to resign for supervising a team of clueless people to plunge the nation into total dumsor. He raps in pidgin: " hey president, we tire you (we are tired of you), coal pot we dey fire you; make you resign. What koraa you wan do."

The song mocks the President with this phrase: “we elect thieves, hyenas to take care of goats and when the goats are consumed we wonder why.”

The song again calls for the resignation of 'Accra Commando' Oko Vandapuiye, who is accused of not doing anything good to warrant his continuous stay in office.

The duo further catalogues several reasons that Ghanaians should look at to make a decision when they go to the polls on December 7.

The song again slams the governing party for doing nothing to end corruption and dumsor, but rather using the people’s mandate to make corruption attractive, especially for cronies of the president.

The song particularly makes mention of the flood and fire disaster which happened last year in Accra, lamenting that the government did nothing to Goil because the state has interest in that oil company.

It said had the disaster been caused by other companies like Shell and others, government would have been more critical on them, describing such attitude of the government as disastrous development that could end the nation in chaos.

The song chastises the government for doing nothing about the rising levels of inflation, the fast depreciation of the country's currency, fuel prices, among others.

Wanlov and Gemini calls on the government to be a bit sensitive about the plights of the people by doing the proper thing that will propel the growth of the country and its people.

According to them, the issue of dumsor is so intense that the creative industry is losing its viability.
