There is an Akan adage which says, ‘y?su koraa y?gyae hem’. To wit, regardless of how we cry, there is always a point we quit and cry no more.
This was exactly what happened at the final funeral rites of Isaac Yeboah, manager of highlife legend, Amakye Dede when a section of the people present took to the dance floor during gospel musician, Great Ampong’s performance.
Isaac Yeboah died instantly in a road accident on January 1, 2016, when a car he was in with Amakye Dede and his bodyguard, Prince Mensah, was involved in a fatal accident.
He was with the two waiting for Amakye to perform at a concert at Paradise Resort at Bunso junction when a wayward sprinter crashed into them.
Isaac Yeboah, who left behind a wife and two children, has been the Editor for Ghana’s popular P&P newspaper for many years and he was a regular contributor to several showbiz radio programmes in Ghana.
