Vodafone supports Asogli Yam Festival

Ho, Sept. 27, GNA - Vodafone, on Saturday, donated cash and items worth GHC1,000 to the Asogli State, in support of its Yam Festival. Mr Ekow Blankson, Vodafone official in charge of Trade and Marketing, said the donation was to underline the company's belief in the transformation of society through cultural beliefs and practices. He said besides the cash donation, Vodafone made other donations in kind and cash to the Asogli State, bringing total support within the past week to GHC32,000.

It includes a GHC1,000 in support of a state dance, 100 pieces of Vodafone branded T-shirts and 100 pieces of Vodafone branded baseball caps to the Asogli State.

Others are two cartons of schnapps, two cartons of Vodafone branded water and five fully connected Vodafone handsets with GHC10 credit each and an "additional GHC200 airtime". Mr Blankson said the Company had also supported a two day street jams in Ho, featuring popular artists and other giveaways towards renewing Vodafone's commitment to providing quality services at affordable prices for all. He said retailers of Vodafone were presented with prizes such as bicycles and other Vodafone branded items at the "Regional Stock and Win Raffle Draw" in Ho. 27 Sept. 09
