Vodafone thrills customers at 020 Live Concert

The 020 live concert by Vodafone Ghana, the telecommunication giant, on Saturday lived up to expectation as hundreds of its customers were treated to good music by artists who performed.

The event dubbed the ‘Red Island’ was held on a specially created stage along the shores of the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra.

The stage was opened by the hip life group Keche and they ensured that customers took to the dance floor as they perform their numerous hit songs.

Ryan, the winner of the 2013 Vodafone Icons Street Edition, also performed to the admiration of fans and Easy Baby, the lady with the silky voice and dancing skills also proved to the fans why she is one of Ghana’s leading female singers as she got everybody on the island dancing.

Multiple award winning trio, 4x4, also lighted up the Red Island as they performed their old and new hit songs which got the fans singing along with them.

The venue livened more when the MC for the night, ‘Channel O’ presenter Denrele Edun, called the Ghana Music Award Artiste of the year R2Bees on stage.

The trio did not disappoint as they gave good accounts of themselves.

Ghanaian born UK based MOBO award winner, Fuse ODG, also gave a good performance and thrilled the fans.

Uche Ofodile, Chief Marketing Officer at Vodafone Ghana, said in an interview that this year’s 020 live concert was very unique as it celebrated Vodafone customers for their loyalty.

“Our customers remain our top priority and we showed our appreciation by giving them this exclusive treat,” she said.
