Vote For Me And I Will Come Perform In Your City - Stonebwoy

Stonebwoy – after dropping his ‘GRADE 1” album last month – March, alongside his birthday bash – the youthful Ghanaian Dancehall singjay is stepping up promo with an ‘after-album-launch’ tour across the country.

Confirming the news to Ghamaicans over the weekend, Stonewboy says he will be embarking on a nationwide tour to promote his album – dubbed “Mystic Rave”. This tour is set about various locations across Ghana (one joint in each of the 10 regions).

Explaining it further, Stonebwoy says “…the album launch is done so this new project is what my team will be rolling immediately. We’re gonna start from Ho, then we hit Takoradi, Kumasi, Cape Coast and the rest of the locations we have mapped out. It will definitely start this April but I’m yet to announce the official start date for the entire experience.

I’m embarking on this new initiative because I need to get closer to my bigger audience out there. Apart from launching my album here in Accra, the rest of Ghana hasn’t really got easy access to my album and I find it more convenient playing shows with it among the music fans and lovers of my genre so they get to grab a copy of my ‘Grade 1’ album CDs directly.

We would not only perform show or just sell my album CDs; I would be there to personally autograph the album copies for people who would patronize the event. There are other hidden surprises we ah go hit di people dem wid yuh zimmi. It’s a full package enuh…”

Burniton, Stonebwoy also hammered on his nomination in this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA). “It is very honouring to be nominated. I am the youngest in that category nonetheless, the whole of Ghana knows I am a multi-talented artiste who deserves it.

My previous works in music, my stage performances and my collabo works with vibrant singers in the industry is enough evidence for my fans and everybody to vote for me to win this award. My album launch proved successful and the album sales too are doing well on the shelves. It is certainly an elevation for my career and I am not stopping here.

The launch of my album is an endorsement for me to step out more, do stronger works in studio and reaching out to the international market. I definitely need this award to add more weight to my music CV as I prepare myself for international assignments. I am using this medium to appeal to everybody to text P5 to 1767 and vote ‘CLIMAX’ as the ‘Reggae Song Of The Year’ for Stonebwoy Ft Samini. I want y’all to vote for me and when I grad that award we will party with it across the country with my tour. Bhiim!” – Stonebwoy implores.

3 hit singles – “ABOVE THE SKY” (feat. Edem), “GHETTO LOVE (feat. Irene Logan), “ONUMADE (feat. TINNY) - from the Stonebwoy ‘Grade 1’ album are receiving a lot of airplay in Ghana and abroad. Stonebwoy’s song are also receiving some good patronage on social networks such as Twitter and Facebook.
