Gospel musician, Ernest Opoku has admonished fellow musicians to ensure they vote for a God fearing person who has the progress of the country at heart.
Ernest disclosed on Price FM that artistes should rely on God for the transformation of their lives and not to be dependent on politicians as many do during election years.
"Musicians should give their life to Christ and let only God be their helper and not NDC or NPP. As a Ghanaian, I vote but I always vote for God fearing persons who seek the progress of Ghana. Because if things go wrong in the country, I am directly affected. So my advice is that my colleagues should not be involved in politics as election is approaching but they should focus on their business and pray for a better leader.”
He is best known for his gospel songs, Adom bi apue, Wanfa amfri osoro amma woa, Aseda, among others and currently promoting his new gospel song “My Lord is good”.
