Wanlov: I won’t grant interviews until Mahama resigns”

Controversial Musician, Emmanuel Owusu-Bonsu popularly known as Wanlov the Kubolor has stated that he is no more granting interviews until President Mahama resigns as the President of the country.

He said since his interviews on various radio stations will not solve the energy situation Ghanaians have been subjected to, he prefers not to talk on any platform until he sees the president resign from his seat.

Wanlov told Hitz FM Tuesday that there are so many solutions available to the president to get the energy situation curbed but have refused to pay attention to critics, hence his call for his resignation.

Asked why he is calling for the President’s head, he said “people are always interviewing me on the energy crisis in the country, but it looks like the more we talk about it, the more it gets worse and so I have decided not to say anything about it because nothing seems to be working in this country”.

The musician who is out with his new album dubbed ‘Red Card -233’ explained that the title of his song seeks to get some bigwigs in the country “on their toes and if they refuse to work for mother Ghana, they should be booted out..,”

Wanlov who is also a member of the FOKIN Bois group is an Afro-Gypsy musician who became popular in Ghana’s showbiz industry with his hit song ‘Kokonsa’ and his unique dress code which is the wearing of a skirt/wrapper with no underwear and no footwear.

He has five children with American, British, Ghanaian, Danish and Japanese women.

Aside music, Wanlov made headlines mainly for his eccentricity by showing of his manhood on TV and the release of his naked picture together with his colleague, Mensa.
