We've not sold Omanhene Pozo's car and clothes - Mother fumes

Omanhene Pozo Omanhene Pozo

Omanhene Pozo's mother, Madam Afia Asantewaa is not happy about reports that family of the musician has sold a section of his properties to pay his medical bills.

Speaking to Christian Agyei Frimpong on Onua FM, she refuted media reports that family of the musician who is currently on admission at the Neuro Surgical Ward of the 37 Military Hospital has sold some of the musician’s properties to cater for his health.

Madam Asantewaa was shocked when host of the show asked of the amount they generated from the sales of the car and clothes of the artiste as reported.

The angry woman on the Accra-based radio station expressed disappointment in the reporter who made it public that family of the musician who is waiting to undergo brain surgery has sold his car and clothes to pay his medical bills.

“Who told you that we are selling his clothes? I want to know the person who said we have sold his clothes because I don’t know anything about that.

You are the first person to tell me that we have sold his clothes and car. We have not sold anything,” the peeved woman disclosed.

She continued that “what property does he have that we sold? That person is a liar, we just need help because my son is really sick”.

Myjoyonline.com reported last week that “his wife has sold Omanhene Pozo’s car and even clothes, to support his medical bills. Tracy Toulan forces a smile in the face of her adversity.”

The “Wasei” hitmaker needs ¢30,000 to enable him successfully undergo a brain surgery.

The welfare committee of GHAMRO presented an undisclosed amount to support him at the 37 Military Hospital.
