Renowned Ghanaian movie director and producer, Samuel Nyamekye has disclosed their next level of action if the government fails to build a Film Village in Kumasi.

Speaking in an interview with Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM which was monitored by Zionfelix.net, Mr Nyamekye said filmmakers will embark on massive demonstrations if they do not listen to their plea.

“We will do massive demonstrations if they fail to do it…It will be a failure on their part. Their stronghold is Kumasi and they are not fulfilling their promises. We will shoot series upon series against them not just movies,” he stated.

He mentioned ‘Se Wo Pe Vote A, Ma Akyemfo 3nto Mma Wo1&2’, ‘Wori Yi Yen Ayi Bone 1&2’, ‘Kumasi Ye Wo Strong Hold Na Wodi Yen Abro 1&2’ and others as some of the titles they will use to shoot the movies against the NPP government.

“If you do not get something for your in-law, you do not steal their belongings,” the movie producer added.

A group of moviemakers from the Kumawood yesterday presented a petition to Parliament on the need to construct a Film Village in Kumasi.
