Western Region Out Of Ghana’s Most Beautiful

The Western regional representative of the on-going TV3’s reality show, ‘Ghana’s Most Beautiful’, 22-year-old Afiba has failed to make it through to the next stage of the show. She was last Sunday September 25, 2011 evicted after singing a lullaby for her baby.

In her act, she revealed to the studio audiences as well as TV viewers the significance of lullaby in her region. However that could not guarantee her a place in the next stage of the show as she did not annex the expected public votes.

The eviction night, which was portraying lullabies in the various regions, started with a stage performance from the Ghana Dance Company who warmed the stage before the ladies came to exhibit what they had for their fans and judges.

After an introduction by the dynamic presenters, Kwaku Temeng and Akua Boahemaa, the ladies, one after the other, mounted the stage to give some wonderful performances.

Akua from the Ashanti region, Afua representing the Central region, Akweley from the Greater Accra region, Asumah from the Upper East region, Afiba from the Western region, Abena from the Brong Ahafo region, Napaa representing the Northern region, Yeli from the Upper West region, Enam from the Volta and Adwoa from the Eastern managed to soothe the ears of the judges and studio audiences with their performances.

Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for as the ladies stood anxiously on stage, praying the first eviction should not fall on them. The presenters then asked Asuma, the Upper East representative and Afiba, the Western region contestant, to remain on stage. The judges chose to save Asuma as they pronounced Afiba as the first the evictee.

The show still continues next week at the same venue, TV3 Studio B. Keep texting your favourite contestants to short code 1788 from all networks to keep them in the competition.
