The ‘Noting I Get’ hit maker on September 28 performed at the wedding ceremony of a junior pastor of the popular televangelist at the Anointed Palace Chapel.
Videos from the ceremony showed Rev Obofour publicly spraying cash on Fameye.
Rev. Obofour is known for his association with secular musicians such as Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and the latest to be added to the list, Fameye.
When asked on Onua FM Friday about how much he was paid for the performance at the wedding ceremony, the musician said he did not charge the popular televangelist but he eventually received some amount for the gig.
” I know he [Rev. Obofour] likes my songs and has always been hyping me and so I didn’t see the need to charge him for performing in his church”, he told Dr Prekese, host of Onua FM drive time, “Efie Ne Fie”.
Fameye is currently promoting his new single “TGIF”.
