Ghanaian Dance artist, Dedzo Endurance Dzigbordi, aka Endurance Grand has responded to criticisms regarding her relationship with fellow dancer Afronitaaa.
According to her, public opinion will not affect her bond with Afronitaaa, real name Danita Akosua Adomaah Yeboah.
In an interview on Joy Prime, Endurance highlighted the sisterly connection they share and stated that there has never been anything wrong between them.
"For Dani and me, nothing has ever been wrong. I feel like whatever happens in life between two friends is never our fault. It’s not what the public will say about the two of us that will define how I still feel about Afronita. Nothing of that sort has ever changed," she said.
Despite the challenges of being in the same industry and facing constant comparisons, both dancers remain focused on their individual goals.
"We text and talk when we have to. It’s just that Dani has to do Dani and I have to do me. We’re human beings; sometimes when I see it, I don’t feel happy about it, and I’m sure that when she sees it, she equally doesn’t feel happy about it. It’s just so unfortunate that in this industry we’re in, people turn to compare creatives. So, I’ve come to realise that it will always happen," Endurance noted.
Endurance reassured fans that their emotional bond remains strong despite Afronitaaa's departure from the Dance with Purpose (DWP) Academy.
