On Sarkodie’s latest music track release ‘Take It Back’ which was released and followed by a video, he applauded the few of rappers he has respect for. Among his list was Koo Ntakra, alongside Teephlow, Donzy, Kofi Kinaata, Strongman and Pappy Kojo, before listing a few veterans, paying homage to Obrafour, Tic-Tac, Tinny, and Dawidi.
According to Sarkodie, he’s disappointed in some of the new breed of rappers, but still encouraged them push harder, adding that;
“You wanna rap like me? Just so you know i don’t rap no more, i say things i see. Attacking the rap like tai chi,…”
Koo Ntakra has however reacted to his mention by Sark, indicating that when Sarkodie gives you a shoutout, it’s a big challenge.
He wrote;
“Didn’t see this coming kraaa. Am humbled by this, Big respect to the King himself @sarkodie When the ‘rap god’ shouts u out, it challenges you to go the extra mile. Big ups to all my brothers in the game. Make we continue to push #Motivation#TakeitBack#Future KOO Nie!”
