Celebrities and socialites going for this year’s Ghana Meets Naija musical concert should watch out for the sharp and inquisitive lenses of leading fashion television show Fashion 101, which is set to make a grand invasion of the red carpet of this year’s event.
Producers of the most popular fashion show on television have announced they will host a special red carpet session for this year’s event.
The June 30 event is expected to draw a large number of celebrities including actors, footballers, musicians, radio and television presenters and a cross section of the upwardly mobile business community among other A-List personalities.
As usual and in characteristic Fashion 101 style, hostess Sandra Ankobiah, who continues to influence what Ghanaian celebrities wear these days, will conduct live personality interviews to make sense out of the variety of fashion trends that would be on parade.
A typical Fashion 101 puts the highlight on what Ghanaian celebrities wear to public programmes like Ghana Meets Naija, and tries to rate them according to who “rocked it” and who didn’t.
The June 30 event adds a lot to the authority Fashion 101 has come to be known and appreciated for over the past few months.
Introduced some months ago to appreciable levels of optimism and pessimism, Fashion 101 has grown from just being a television show, into an authority.
The producers have promised an exciting season 2, which returns on television in the next few weeks, after a successful 13-week screening of the maiden season.
Fashion 101 is produced by Emerald Paradise Productions, and airs on multiple television platforms across the country.**
