Maxwell Otibu, a Ghanaian nursing professional, has shed light on the importance of regular sexual activity for men's health.

He explained that the daily production of one billion sperm in men significantly boosts their libido, a stark contrast to women who ovulate once a month.

Otibu emphasised the health risks, including prostate cancer, that men face when they do not engage in frequent sexual activity.

During his appearance on the Duvet show on GhOne TV, Otibu advised women to be receptive to their partner's sexual needs, even if they are not personally inclined.

"Women produce one egg each month. Therefore, theoretically, their desire for sex should diminish. In contrast, men's bodies create one billion sperm each day. Not utilising them makes one prone to prostate cancer and related issues," he retorted.

He added, "So, they must be excreted. In doing so, cancer-causing substances are also eliminated. Hence, even if you dislike sex, you should be open to it to prevent your partner from developing conditions like benign hypertrophy, cancers, and the like."
