John Dumelo has said he has great affection for widows and children and would therefore continue to support them.
The actor made the revelation when he donated a number of items to widows and children in Mognori in the West Gonja District of the Northern Region as part of his ongoing local tourism campaign.
Among the items he donated were rice, canned fish, cooking oil and mosquito repellents by his J’melo Company.
“Widows and children are dear to my heart, hence the need to look after them well,” he said.
He further added that he would be donating thousands of the J’melo mosquito repellents to children and pregnant women to help reduce malaria and maternal mortality.
Mr Dumelo recently made a similar donation in Conakry when he met with the first lady of Guinea.
He also donated 5000 pieces of J’melo hand sanitizers to help combat Ebola.
