All is set for English singer, songwriter, actress and Grammy Award winner Joss Stone to perform in Ghana.
Her visit to Ghana forms a part of her dream to “show people the immense amount of good work and creativity that is happening all over the world and to encourage others to take responsibility for helping to solve the worlds many social and environmental issues”
Joss Stone will be joined by artistic director at Hewale Sounds, Yaw Dela Botri, and Ghana’s most sought after female musician Noella Wiyaala.
Joss Stone’s Total World Tour will see her become the first musician to complete a tour of all 193 UN registered countries in the world.
According to an official statement from the UK government’s official website, “Joss aims to collaborate with local home grown musicians, playing indigenous music as well as her own songs. Joss will also work with a variety of good causes and learn about important humanitarian and environmental issues throughout the trip.”
Joss Stone will perform at +233 Jazz Bar and Grill on the 30th of January.
With an enviable music catalog, the night is expected to be that of an intimate acoustic session.
Tickets are going for Ghc200 at the gate.
