A 30-year-old woman and her daughter are to demonstrate on Thursday, May 16, 2024, against Rev. Patricia Oduro Asiedua, famously known as Nana Agradaa, the General Overseer of the Heaven Way Chapel, over alleged gold theft, fraud and acid assault on the little girl.
Sources at the police indicate the receipt of the demonstration notification by one Sarah Abraham plus her intention to present petitions to the Inspector of Police (IGP) and other institutions for redress.
Her ultimate, according to sources close to Sarah, is to retrieve her gold and seek justice for her daughter over an acid assault strongly suspected to be linked to her relentless fight for the precious ornament.
Her letter of Notification of Protest to the police states, "We write to notify the Police of our intention to hold a peaceful 2-person protest on Thursday, May 16, 2024, from the hours of 9.00 am to 11:00 noon.
"The purpose of this protest is to draw the public’s attention to Rev. Patricia Oduro Asiedua, the General Overseer of the Heaven Way Chapel, known in public life as Nana Agraada and Evangelist Mama Pat, on an alleged criminal gold theft and acid assault."
The protest will start from the Obra Spot at the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange in Accra and the petitions to the Inspector General of Police, the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), the Speaker of Parliament, the Chief Justice and Peace Watch Ghana presented afterwards.
