Ghanaian musician Kwame Boakye, popularly known as Xlimkid, has released a new single titled “Clowns in a Circus,” which has sparked significant online buzz.
This release follows his recent project, “Glory in Pain,” with O’Kenneth of Asakaa. Since then, Xlimkid and the Asakaa boys have been engaged in a heated online feud, with both sides exchanging jabs. The tension has escalated further with the release of this latest track, where Xlimkid takes aim at the Asakaa boys and their protégés.
Insiders have revealed that the dispute involves contractual and financial issues. In his song, Xlimkid pointedly asks, “Mese jack mommere me me krataa no. Krataa naa wosi saa ada no wode b3ba aa Besi ne yi woowaawaa ho,” questioning the Asakaa boys about “the papers.”
This line suggests that rumors of the Asakaa boys duping young artists may have some truth within the Kumasi community.
