After he was trolled on social media for supervising the Zylofon Arts Club’s tribute song, Willi roi has attempted to exonerate himself but it appears unconvincing.
“It is good that people don’t understand what I did. When you want to do a tribute song, apart from the dirge, there is one too that recounts the hits which is what the international standard is that we saw. All I did was produce collection of the girl’s own songs. I didn’t add anything… I didn’t play the beat. I just put it together. Maybe what I have done, you’re yet to get to it because you’re in a dirge mood and thinking that tribute songs should be dirge,” he said on Zylofon FM.
Willi Roi was mocked for supervising what many have described as a poor piece despite his many years of experience in the music industry and his constant self-agrandisement posture.
The song was a collection of all Ebony songs – Maame Hwe, Poison, Kupe, Sponsor etc.
The Zylofon Arts Club is to groom, give professional help and career advice to the youngsters in the entertainment industry. It is divided into three departments, including music, modelling and movie, abrantepa.com is informed.
