Relationship expert, Joro Olumofin, has raised a question for married women regarding the concept of being what he termed as a 'condition wife'.
In a widely circulated video, Joro discussed the notion of 'condition wives', referring to women who married their husbands when the men were not financially stable.
He defined a condition wife as a woman whom a man married because she was the only one he could afford at that time, not necessarily his ideal choice.
According to Joro, once these men achieve financial success, they may leave their 'condition wives' in pursuit of women who fit their desired social status—often referred to as trophy wives.
Highlighting a parallel perspective, Joro mentioned that some women also settle for partners they might not have chosen earlier in life due to circumstances, only to seek a partner who aligns better with their social aspirations once they have established themselves.
