Former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, has commended the achievements of Afronitaaa and her dance partner, Abigail, emphasizing their significance in bolstering national pride.
Mahama lauded the duo's performances as a testament to the remarkable talent and creativity possessed by Ghanaian youth, urging for their recognition and appreciation.
In a social media post celebrating Afronita and Abigail, the former President expressed, “You’ve given us another reason to be proud of our country, Ghana, and the talent and creativity of its youth. Go all out, Abigail and Afronitaa!”
Despite their hopes of clinching the top spot on Britain’s Got Talent this year, Afronitaaa and Abigail secured third place in the competition.
They had vied for the coveted £250,000 cash prize and a prestigious spot on the bill of the Royal Variety Performance.
Britain’s Got Talent, featuring judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and Bruno Tonioli, is hosted by Ant and Dec.
