Multiple award-winning Ghanaian artiste, Mercy Twum-Ampofo, popularly known as Ohemaa Mercy has highly praised colleague gospel artiste Sonnie Badu in a post on her micro-blogging platforms.

Ohemaa Mercy acknowledged the UK based Ghanaian gospel musician for immensely contributing to her ministry.

She recounted how Badu facilitated the negotiation to get the renowned American musician and televangelist, Dr. Juanita Bynum to perform in Ghana for the 5th edition of Ohemaa Mercy’s Tehillah Experience.

For her unconcealed joy concerning Sonnie Badu’s assistance to the Ohemaa Mercy Ministry, the female gospel minstrel described the ‘Baba’ hit singer as pride of Ghanaian and African Gospel Ministry.

“This great man of God here @sonniebaduuk needs no introduction. He is my brother. He hasn’t hidden his love from what I stand for on any opportunity he’s got over the years. And what many people don’t know is that apart from God and my husby @iketwum he has been a strong pillar for my ministry. As great as he is and as busy as he is he spend time to pray on what next for my ministry and he does a lot without making noise about it. You hardly see such in today’s Christianity and Ministry. He is selfless and my heart doves for him because he was the unseen figure behind me making sure that I succeed because he believed in me. My mother @iamdrjuanitabynum said to me my son @sonniebaduuk will not let me be until I said yes. She said “he was ready to sacrifice a relationship to speak about you and husband to me”. Bro I know u always want to be quite but can’t keep silent over this. I know your heart for this commission will see you sore higher and higher in ministry like never before. I continue to say that you are a pride of Ghanaian and African Gospel Ministry and I salute you this day for the love you have kept all throughout the years. Thanks for everything. Family let’s celebrate @sonniebaduuk”

2018 Tehilla Experience

Thousands of people thronged the premises of ICGC to have an encounter with God in worship at the 5th edition Ohemaa Mercy’s Tehilla Experience which happened last Sunday, August 12, 2018.

The night saw personalities like sensational actress Nana Ama McBrown, multiple award-winning TV host Stacy Amoateng, Ghanaian gospel singer Abena Ruth, Veteran gospel artiste, Mary Ghansah, Ghanaian singer and former president of MUSIGA, Diana Hopeson, Ghanaian award-winning gospel artiste, Bernice Ofei, and Music producer and engineer Kaywa.

The night which will leave an indelible memory on the minds of patrons began with praises, geography and also saw some wonderful performances from Ohemaa Mercy, Cecy Twum, Moses O.K, Cwesi Oteng, Francis Amo, Elder Mireku, Juanita Bynum, and others.

Paving way for the Maestro Elder Mireku was Cece Twum who charged the atmosphere with breath-taking worship songs.

Each of the artistes billed for the night was given ten minutes to minister to the people, as some were given extra to fill the place with the holy spirit. The seemingly exited patrons couldn’t stop singing along when each singer was called on stage to perform.

Ohemaa Mercy who was the headline act of the show put a spectacular performance. Dressed in a classy long white dress, the ‘Aseda’ hitmaker started her performance with a low note song. She accompanied her performance with powerful dance moves and carried her fans along throughout her performance.

American singer Juanita Bynum also shined on the night as some fans were anxious to see her outside the auditorium, even though she came later. The crowd was screaming on top of their voices when she started her performance. Dr. Juanita Bynum in a press conference held on Saturday, August 11 ahead of the Tehilla Experience promised to build a head office of her ministry in Ghana and it will be her home of international ministry.

The ‘Tehillah Experience 2018’ was absolutely free for all and Patrons who attended the show heart desires were fulfilled.
