Ghanaian musician, Keche Joshua has shed light on his outburst directed at fellow artiste King Paluta over his non-promotion of their collaborative song.

It could be recalled that in August, Keche Joshua took to social media to criticise King Paluta for not promoting their "My Father," released in June 2024. He accused King Paluta of disrespect and noted that King Paluta actively promoted songs with other artistes.

Speaking on the Savage Room podcast, Joshua Keche explained the reason for his outburst, he revealed that he reached out to King Paluta five times to discuss promotional strategies that would benefit both artistes. But King Paluta's unresponsiveness led him to publicly voice his disappointment.

"We featured you on a song. Collectively, We need to promote it together. And there's a split sheet that when the song comes out online, every stream, you will get your percentage.

"So you want me to promote the song for you to chop that money. I tried reaching out to you, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 times, but you didn’t mind me So I to let you know that what you did was not good," he said.

Keche explained, adding that while he is open about his issues, he does not hold grudges. However, he would not run from a fight.

"That’s how I am, I will say what I had to say and go to sleep. The next day if I see you I will greet you. If you want to fight me, fighting is not good. But if you try show strength. I will show you that I have been on this street more than you," he added.

Joshua Keche clarified that his message wasn’t intended to incite conflict but rather to encourage accountability from King Paluta.
