Ghana “rap sofo”, Michael Elliot Kwabena Okyere Darko, has stated that his upcoming music concert dubbed, “Pae Muka @20 Concert” was motivated by social media post by actress Yvonne Nelson.
Obrafour, speaking in interview with Nana Ama Mcbrown, on “Mcbrown’s kitchen” said, even though his management was already planning on what to do to mark his 20 anniversary, Yvonne’s twitter post about his remarkable contribution toward the Ghanaian music industry generated the whole plan of organizing the show.
Obrafour told McBrown that, “The whole Obrafour concert started with just a Tweet from Yvonne Nelson. I must admit I was quite shocked about how it went viral. Even though my management was working on organizing something to mark my two-decade music career, Yvonne’s tweet helped us settle on a decision, and for that I must thank because she is my greatest fan”.
Obrafour is set to hold a mega musical concert dubbed, “Pae Muka @20 Concert” this Saturday, November 9, at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC), to celebrate his 20 years in the music industry.
According to Obrafour, the event will witness great performances from a number of celebrated Ghanaian artistes who have worked with him for the past decades.
It is expected to bring together music lovers, particularly fans of Obrafour, from all over the country to celebrate his great achievements in the industry.
