Yvonne Nelson rubbished a legitimate question - Eugene Osarfo Nkansah

Eugene Osarfo Nkansah, a producer at Peace FM, has confirmed to Sammy Flex of Pluzz 89.9FM that one of the most storied Ghanaian actresses, Yvonne Nelson, truly rubbished a question asked by a journalist Chucks Ene at a press conference recently.

During a press conference of Kafui Danku’s new movie “Any other Monday” at the African Regent Hotel, a journalist by name Chucks Ene asked Pascal Amanfo, the director of the movie whether a cast member by name Kunle Remi, a Nigerian, had obtained permit for shooting the movie in Ghana.

Yvonne Nelson ‘whisked’ the question from Pascal and answered Chucks, asking him to rephrase his question because it did not make sense to her.

Adeyemi Adebayo Victor from Ytainment.com whom Yvonne Nelson purportedly has personal issues with for writing only negative things about her added fuel to the fire by asking the actress to stop rubbishing the question.

According to eye witness Eugene Osarfo Nkansah, who was also at the conference, “Chucks was not asking the question to create malice but a law has been passed by FIPAG {Film Producers Association of Ghana} so he wanted to inquire from the director concerning the work permit because John Dumelo was arrested for working without permit in Nigeria and the question was strictly about the production and she even stated that the media does not support the actors.”

Eugene added that Yvonne was so angry that she was at some point begged by Kafui Danku to pose with her for pictures.

Was it just pride or did she feel the journalist was disrespecting their abilities to get their work done? We are yet to hear from the actress’s side.
