Zylofon Arts Fund, a subsidiary of Zylofon Media, has partnered with Loyalty is Royalty and Eusbett Cinema in Sunyani, capital of the Brong Ahafo Region.
Speaking at a press launch in Sunyani, a board member of Zylofon Arts Fund, Nana Brew, stated that his outfit is interested in making the Brong Ahafo Region an entertainment hub.
“We want people going to the cinema to be a culture in this region. We are signing a memorandum of understanding today with Loyalty is Royalty (LIR) and Eusbett Cinema. We proposed a 60-40 agreement in favour of the producer with regards to proceeds from the cinema centre,” he revealed.
“Any producer who wants to be part of this must have a good story. We want to see talents from Brong Ahafo on the national front. We want the next Jackie Appiah, Majid Michael and others to come from B/A,” Nana Brew emphasised.
He said Zylofon Arts Fund aims to bridge the gap between up and coming musicians in the region and the already made artiste in the country.
“We will bring artistes for a big concert whereby artiste in the region will share a stage with them. We will organise workshops for them... It is our dream to let up and coming musicians in the region to collaborate with the already made artistes,” the Zylofon Arts Fund Board Member posited.
Nana Brew charged Nana Wusu of Nana Wusu Production, a beneficially of the Zylofon Arts Fund in Sunyani to use talents in the region for his upcoming movies.
On his part, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Loyalty is Royalty, Ernest Bennett, called on the media to support the programs of his outfit in order to unearth more talents in the region.
He stressed that the people of Brong Ahafo Region can achieve a lot of they come together as one people.
