Zylofon Media to unveil Shatta Wale on Wednesday

Shatta Wale joining Zylofon Media became the talk of the town days back after Zionfelix.net reported it.

Many thought it was false but Zionfelix.net can say that the musician will be unveiled as the new artiste on Zylofon Music on Wednesday, January 31.

The event expected to happen at the headquarters of the company located at East Legon for the press will see the signing and unveiling of the ‘Freedom’ hitmaker as a Zylofon Music artiste.

Insiders tell Zionfelix.net that the Zylofon Media–Shatta Wale move was not done before rumours went viral that the musician had joined the Nana Appiah Mensah-owned entertainment company. According to sources at the firm who spoke to Zionfelix.net, Zylofon Media was still in talks with the musician when information got leaked that the multiple award-winning artist has been signed on Zylofon Music.

Shatta Wale after Wednesday, January 31 will join artistes like Stonebwoy, Joyce Blessing, Kumi Guitar, Obibini and Becca on the record label.

Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., is a Ghanaian-born producer and reggae-dancehall musician. He is known by his stage name Shatta Wale, formerly Bandana, His best known song is “Dancehall King”, which led to winning the Artiste of the Year at the 2014 edition of the Ghana Music Awards. He traveled to Jamaica to learn dancehall. Wale acted in the movies Never Say Never and in Shattered Lives.
