2014 is a Year of Make or Break For Kumawuman

All discerning citizens from Kumawu Traditional area the world over are resolutely determined to make year 2014 a “make or break” in pursuit of fair resolution to their near seven-year old chieftaincy dispute.

They will no longer continue to sit on their lap, twirling their fingers, hoping against hope, while Kumawuhemaa and her conniving dubious syndicate of reckless traditional leaders take them for dangerous rough rides. Enough is enough with the on-going nonsensicalities, collusion and mischief directed at ruining Kumawuman and her inhabitants by the visionless queen and her accomplices.

Before proceeding any further, I would like to state categorically without fear or favour that Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has not lived up to expectation as far as the arbitration of Kumawu chieftaincy disputation goes. He has proved himself incapable of resolving cases reasonably and truthfully.

Be it known to him that he has not lived up to the level of the ceremonial role of Asantehene since the reformation or reorganization of the Asante Confederacy in year 1935. He has illegally been arrogating to himself powers he has no right to, therefore seeming bigger for his size and role, all with impunity.

He will soon be cut to size if he continues to meddle with the Kumawu case in such an injurious manner as he has explicitly been doing since the demise of Barima Asumadu Sakyi II. Nobody cares about his personal relationship with whomever but to allow any such relationship to adversely affect the collective interest of the people of Kumawuman will no longer be tolerated but resisted with corresponding might.

It is an open secret that Mamponghene, Offinsohene, Ejisuhene and Mamso-Nkwantahene are working against the interest of the citizens of Kumawuman. These chiefs, as illegal, crooks and senseless as some of them are, had better steer clear of the Kumawu case. They are cruising for a bruising and they will soon be exiting the radar of the Kumawu case with bloody nose. They had better mark my words.

I know for a fact how they have been accepting financial inducements in a form of bribe from Kumawuhemaa and how they stand to benefit financially and in other kinds from Kumawu should the queen impose her choice of candidate as Kumawuhene on us.

These chiefs will soon be taken before the gods to swear if they had not accepted any offers from Kumawuhemaa to behave irresponsibly as they are doing.

Now, we the citizens of Kumawu will not allow rogues to decide our lives for us but to extricate ourselves from their tentacles by resorting to any means possible.

I thank God that almost all Kumawuman citizens have been so sensitized that they are ready to fight not only to defend their right but to protect the total integrity of what their forefathers bequeathed to them – land and stool.

I hope all commoners and prominent Kumawuman people alike will identify with this crusade to liberate Kumawuman from the oppressors rule, ruin, visionless, thievery and nonsensicalities.

Kumawuhemaa is completely discombobulated by the action of the people of Kumawuman to obstruct her from illegally imposing a puppet and another visionless person on them as Kumawuhene.

Nonetheless, she has been saying alongside one Ahenenananomhene that the action taken by the people of Kumawuman on Monday, 9 December 2013, preventing her from imposing one Dr Sarfo on Kumawu as the Omanhene will come to naught as long as the case will once again come before Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II. What is the source of this overconfidence in her? We live to see!

We shall see how things go in year 2014. However, Asantehene and his confidants who anticipate inflicting further ruins on Kumawuman through dillydallying had better think twice. They will not only be exposed but confronted head-on.

Lastly, one Kwabena Anane from Ankaase, the owner of the burnt down once popular “Apata Kese Ase” pub or bar in Kumawu has been sentenced to death by hanging about ten days ago. In Ghana we do not practice capital punishment so his death sentence will be commuted to life imprisonment. He has shown a great remorse since his arrest for murder. I therefore hope he was given a number of years sentence so he could come back a reformed person, preach to dissuade others from behaving recklessly or from acting on the spur of the moment or premeditatedly to cause murder that they will regret in the end.

A word to the wise is enough.

I extend my Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year wishes to all my readers, the Management and Staff of Ghanaweb, Modernghana, SpyGhana and Sources radio UK and to the people of Kumawuman worldwide. 2014 is an action year. We have talked the talk and will walk the talk.
