A Letter To The President Of Ghana:

*A LETTER TO THE PRESIDENT OF GHANA: - ASHANTI REGION NEEDS AN OUT-SPOKEN
AND AN INFORMATIVE PERSON AS A DEPUTY REGIONAL MINISTER*

I am still doing my thinking aloud and recording these thoughts as I
indicated in my earlier piece. I must admit that I am actually enjoying this
approach of mind reactivating and memory recalling.

Now that the Ashanti Regional Minister is gone, the question is who will
replace the Deputy Regional Minister? The information reaching me is that
she is even packing to leave before the president sacks her. And working on
the grounds for about 25 years in active politics within the Ashanti Region,
I personally describe the region as a” hot desert with no water” for the
NDC. 2012 is not going to be like a football match but it is going to be
guerrilla warfare in the region hence the region needs someone who believes
in “do and die”.

A deputy regional Minister for the next two years should be strategic,
someone outspoken and someone who can work on the grounds. We don’t need an
administrator for the next two years but someone who can combine both
politics with administration. We need someone who believes in the hard way
should be placed and considered on the negotiation table. Someone who can
never be intimidated by anybody during the next two years. The NDC party
should by now know what goes into the winning of political power hence their
deputy Ministers should be of a lion’s heart.

The NDC party will make a very big mistake if it ignores competent and very
informative personalities. Facing the Media is what the deputy should take
upon him/her self. The media war, who can face them? Who has all the
information’s? Who stays all night to do all the analysis?

I have no intention of suggesting anybody to the president but the NDC as a
party should open its mind and see things before they happen.

Well, as for me, I am still doing my thinking aloud and will record anything
that is worth memory recalling.
