The fight against Galamsey/illegal mining should not be seen as advantageous to any political party, as all are complicit in this evil. This is a battle against forces that are destroying our very existence and survival.
The fight against illegal mining and the deliberate destruction of our farmlands and water bodies is a fight against evil individuals in all sectors of our society who greedily plunder our existence without conscience or consciousness.
These inherently evil individuals consist of cabals from within and among us who have joined forces with partners from foreign lands to destroy everything as long as their bellies are full.
With all aggression at their disposal, they kill all the fish in our water bodies, all insects, animals, reptiles, birds in our forests, and the pollinating creatures on our farms, while poisoning our lands and water bodies.
The only seemingly safe water bodies, the Volta Lake and the Volta River, have already been polluted and are gradually becoming unsafe for consumption.
The fight against illegal mining and 'galamsey' is a plea for humanity to save itself from destruction. Every Ghanaian, no matter where they live, must rise up against these destructive forces that are harming our bodies. Our bodies rely entirely on the earth for survival, making them a microcosm of the earth itself.
Down with partisan politics, down with ethnic division, down with divide and rule.
Arise!!! And unite against illegal mining
