Acknowledge your epic failure, McHypocrite

I am not here to beat a dead horse or argue pointlessly and vacuously with a rabid Akufo-Addo detractor who may now be acting more out of tactical expediency than either remorse or good faith. I am, of course, referring to Dr. McHypocrite. Now this would-be Akufo-Addo destroyer would have Ghanaians believe that his politics of personal destruction, intensely and systematically targeted at the three-time Presidential Candidate of the country’s main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), for at least some 5 years now, is a vintage example of constructive criticism. Needless to say, eligible Ghanaian voters have heard enough and read more than enough of his virulently anti-Akufo-Addo tirades to make up their own minds about the character and personality of this medical-license hacking ungrateful opportunist (See ____’s Supposed Hatred of Nana Akufo-Addo” Modernghana.com 4/12/16).

Those of us whom this hip-shooting impudent character assassin has variously tagged as “The Kyebi Mafia” and “Akyem Mafia,” of which Akufo-Addo is supposed to be the Supreme Commander or Generalissimo, do not deal in facile suppositions and presuppositions; we deal in facts and figures, not fiction and hearsay. If he has so soon and conveniently forgotten this, let me remind Dr. McHypocrite that his running theme in the lead-up to the 2016 NPP Presidential Primary was that Akufo-Addo was too pathologically violent to be elected President of Ghana. What is fascinating to recall here is that throughout all these accusations, the former Akufo-Addo Communications Director did not provide a single shred of evidence or forensically sustainable proof of the purportedly violent behavior of Ghana’s former Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, either on a personal or political level.

And yet the former Idiot-of-Irmo, South Carolina, constantly harped on the imperative need for Mr. Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen (aka Alan Cash) to make a running and resonant theme of “All-Die-Be-Die” as his main electioneering campaign policy agenda. If anybody has any doubts about the veracity of the preceding testimony, let that person compare notes with Mr. Okatakyie Kwame Opoku-Agyeman, the Bekwai-Assakyiri Kyerematen agitprop point-man, who has done nearly as much as McHypocrite to permanently tarnish the public-service image and reputation of Nana Akufo-Addo. Now this unconscionable moral reprobate SOB is telling us that “I warned quietly at first, then loudly and repeatedly that making ‘All-Die-Be-Die’ the defining slogan of his campaign will lead to defeat.”

This is clinically insane but he is, nevertheless, holding tightly onto the same, that it was he, Dr. McHypocrite, who tutored Akufo-Addo on whom to select as his running-mate for his 2008 Presidential Campaign. And yet, the same self-proclaimed Akufo-Addo running-mate “road-map maker” has been persistently and consistently hammering on the fact that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is a wet-eared newcomer to the New Patriotic Party who never deserved to have been selected as Akufo-Addo’s running-mate, let alone keep him for three consecutive election cycles. The preceding notwithstanding, his one purported achievement that intrigues me the most is McHypocrite’s assertion that he wrote what Americans call his kiss-and-tell book, “Chasing the Elephant into the Bush,” as a definitive set of guidelines for winning Election 2012.

Actually, as I pointed out in a previous column, the man who recently wrote to lambaste the employers of Adakabre Frimpong-Manso for supposedly coercing a public apology out of the latter for Nana Akufo-Addo (we shall get back to that in due course) wrote “Chasing the Elephant into the Bush” which phrase, by the way, was coined by Mr. Johnson Asiedu-Nketia, the General-Secretary of the National Democratic Congress, as a means of making quick bucks, or money, and taunting the Akufo-Addo Presidential Campaign to the delight of those of his factional cronies who have been trying to take down Akufo-Addo, such as Messrs. Kofi Konadu Apraku, Richard Winfred Anane and Kwadwo Mpiani, since anybody can remember.

Now, McHypocrite says that he has always expressed his disagreements with Akufo-Addo respectively, but it is this same self-proclaimed Akufo-Addo nemesis who recently wrote and published an article in which he emphatically told anybody who cared to listen what most of us have always known from day one – that Dr. McHypocrite has absolutely no respect for Nana Akufo-Addo, because the latter had flatly refused to allow Messrs. Paul A. Afoko, Kwabena Agyei Agyepong and Sammy Crabbe to derail his 2016 Presidential Campaign. No doubt, Dr. McHypocrite is entitled to his own opinions. What he is not entitled to is to grossly insult our intelligence.
