Adams Mahama deserved to die!!

He is in hell and i am happy for this!

Kwabena Nyamekye

The violence Adams Mahama exported from his base in Upper East came home to him one dark night when he was baptised with acid. He deserved to die for his folly and frankly I am glad he is dead, probably in hell as I write, fanning Satan’s fires for eternity!! Let us look closely at the recent life and times of a man who has caused the party I love so dearly, so much havoc, a man who until he announced himself to us as a violent thug, was someone who no one knew of.

Adams Mahama became popular on the back of the Nana Addo inspired division in the NPP. When you have a leading member who declares he can’t work with some of his own leading party members, when you have a man with a track record of dividing the Danquah-Busia family from 1979 become flag bearer for the 3rd time on the back of “No Nana No Vote” then rest assured, violent non-entities will exploit this disrespect for the family; violent gangsters will pop up and claim pride of place for the simple reason that they are happy to be aligned to the divisive forces in the tradition. From a healthy and peaceful entity with a solid record in governance, Nana Addo has dragged the party from power to opposition and in doing so he has orchestrated the shouting down of dissent in the party. In such circumstances only vile vermin emerge strong and at the front of this pack was the Lucifer’s most recent guest - Adams Mahama. The violence started as verbal violence – hooting of the sitting president at Legon in 2005. The person behind this was elected flag bearer and this sent a signal – the more violent you are the more likely you will become influential in the party!

Since 2014 when Afoko and Agyapong were elected on a platform of making the party battle ready, the likes of Adams Mahama have been bent on intimidating these 2 gentlemen to get them to make the NPP a fan club, a church if you like, instead of a political party. Not surprisingly this has met with resistance and true to form Adams Mahama reacted in the only way that the mob element in the NPP knows how – with violence!! Our gallant General Secretary Kwabena Agyapong has exposed how this man threatened violence at a police station of all places! With his band of outlaws and armed with the latest weapons, Adams Mahama attacked one of the institutions of state and it was only the persuasion of the rock of the NPP, Agyapong, that prevented Mahama from being locked up. Previously he had attacked a restaurant with the same band and exhibiting the same behaviour. Such a bandit need not be mourned. In fact the death of such a bandit should be cause for celebration as the world and the NPP in particular is a better place without him! If I had my way a picture of Adams Mahama in pain, on a hospital bed, wearing his acid suit, and screaming for his mother will be displayed at party headquarters as a lesson to all those who preach violence. It does not pay and at some time it will come back to haunt you.

Adams Mahama will not be missed so let us stop making noise as if he is BJ JDa Rocha or Jato Kaleo . He did nothing for us and I am surprised at the weeping and wailing over the death of a non-entity in the party. Let us move on from him. There should be no tears, just joy at the demise of a man who gave us a bad name and who sowed the wind and reaped the whirlwind.
