Alert Ghana Rebuts: Akufo-Addo's Supporters Are Too Abusive

By: Fadi Dabbbousi

This would probably be my shortest rebuttal ever – The ten point rule of thumb:
1. If in comparison to your short-sightedness it is going to be, Mr Katakyie Kwame Opoku Agyemang, then let all know that there is no leader in someone who absconds after losing miserably to Nana Akufo-Addo in the primaries, two consecutive times.
2. If it is about patriotism, if anyone should get close to being at par with Nana Akufo-Addo, it most certainly is not Alan Kyeremanteng.
3. If it is about sleeping with the devil, it certainly is not Nana Akufo-Addo. Mr Katakyie Kwame Opoku Agyemang, don’t forget that Alan Kyeremanteng was purported to have taken one million dollars from John Mahama at their meeting at Adjiriganor in East-Legon as released in the press statement of the NDC group “NDCTalkTrue”.
4. If it is about soliciting his friend President JDM, Alan Kyeremanteng exhibited his desperation at attaining a high profile job, which he was not even deemed good enough for, let alone a party Flagbearer or President.
5. If it is about resigning from the NPP and unofficially exerting himself upon the masses, Alan Kyeremanteng is the first accused, knowing that Nana Akufo-Addo never turned his back on the grass roots and never retired for close to four years abroad.
6. If it is about political prowess, the whole nation, NDC including, knows that Alan Kyeremanteng is an unqualified student compared to the seasoned Akufo-Addo.
7. If it is about insults and denigration, the boys of Alan, you Mr Katakyie Kwame Opoku Agyemang being the first accused, have defiled and insulted Nana more than you would even insult your rivals in the most vicious and vile propaganda ever, much more articulate than that of outsiders. You are the one who, personally, trumpeted the age and health card, albeit foolishly unsuccessful.
8. If it is about age and health, Nana wins the trump card with a clean bill of health, unlike Hon Alan Kyeremanteng, may GOD cure him soonest. Physical posture puts Nana Akufo-Addo at a much younger age than Alan, seemingly so, and that is due to the fact that Nana does not bleach and is young in stature and at heart.
9. If it is about lies, GAKE cannot be outdone and I posit that you be rewarded with a loyalty award from Alan Kyeremanteng for proving professionalism in devilish remarks and peddling untruth. Talking about John Mahama beating Nana in just 3 months of campaign, suffice it to say that your desperation has retarded you beyond redemption. Were you not aware that the people’s mandate was violated and that Nana, the man of peace, let sleeping dogs lie in the interest of Mother Ghana? Or maybe you actually campaigned for the NDC and voted on that trajectory because you did not want Nana to be President, which I am more amenable to believing given the explicitness of your dirty hogwash campaign against Akufo-Addo? Wherefore is your loyalty and patriotism to this country when you have such a scheming and hateful heart? Given that the tables were turned around and your man Alan were to find himself in Nana’s shoes, you people would have called for a civil war that Nana averted with his wisdom.
10. If it is about popularity, everyone knows that if “NO NANA NO VOTE”, period.
At this juncture, let me repeat the last paragraph of my Press Statement in reply to your article about Akufo-Addo that you forced into the mouth of Hopeson Adorye:
“With our full belief in the oneness and ability of GOD Almighty, The Creator and Sustainer of the universe, we know that death does not discriminate between the young and old, male or female. Many-a-young soul has been plucked in lieu of an old one and it is a fact of life. However, we take solace in the fact that, while no one's life is guaranteed, the health and stature of Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo is very impressive and satisfactory to all who know him except the paid, shameful and unrestrained propagandists”.
GOD bless Nana Akufo-Addo and grant him long life that he may continue to serve Mother Ghana with the unflinching loyalty and patriotism that he is known for.
So shut up and let us practise clean internal politics so that we may throw our weight wholly behind the winner of the primaries for the Flagbearership, whoever he may be.
