Anas Aremeyaw Anas and beyond

The work of Anas Aremeyaw Anas(AAA) and team have been with
us for sometime now, but most of us are just catching up with it now but that
does not stop us from saying BRAVO keep it up.

The big Question is who next on AAA’s list, for me this is
the starting point for us all to consider re-thinking our bad ways; we have to
watch our backs. AAA seem to have acquire the status of Big Brother, he may be
watching us wherever we are and recording whatever we are doing. If that is not
enough to change all of us then what else will help.

Could AAA and his team have been
involved in selective, watching and recording? In the case of the cocoa
operations they qualify as” Participant” observers though they had to pretend
to be participants so as to observe. In the case of the orphanage they are non
participants.
So whatever they did could have bothered on ethical issues concerning confidentiality
or privacy, some bias may occur as AAA and team may notice what interest them
most. Note that this effect is most likely to be more pronounced since they
have to give the public an abridged version of the whole process.

We all know there is lots of risk with what he and his team are
doing and he knows that better but all the same somebody must bell this cat
when it sleeping. So I add again well DONE

But may I ask a few questions not because no one asked
before but because maybe the answer has not been clear.

Can
you use this evidences in the law court more so when the clips are edited?.What
has been the benefit so far especial in places where he was already
visited, will he be able to revisit the place again to tell us the improve?Do we
have the potential to develop thick skins as more and more this type of
recording come and no action is taken by the authority?

If we may all recall, there was voice tape issue where some police officer were
caught on
voice tape (not the cocaine tape), there after no mobile phones were allowed into
the police Head Quarters in Accra. Is it possible all
institution will begin to put similar systems in place or make it more
difficult for AAA and team. For example
will a Church leader need clearance from the ministry before going into any
SOS. It simple sense, will those place become difficult to visit.

The other issue is
who is more likely to be on AAA’s tape, most will be the down trooding?. Look
at the cocoa -operations tape, it was just the sergeants and the bob no ranks
who were caught in the act. Have we not heard over and over that those bob no
ranks who are stationed at such place have to take some returns to the Top. Are
we in position to record that?

It might be costly to carry out the AAA style activity in
high place, so we might run this just for the lower places, we will end up
punishing the
person who stole a chicken but never catch up with the person who stole several
thousands. So how do we go forward?
