Are NPP Supporters Abandoning Akuffo-Addo in Droves?

Do you know it is said, “Winners never quit, and quitters never win” and also “When the going gets tough, the tough get going?” Why then are some people noted for being NPP activists prior to the elections, are now abandoning Nana Akuffo-Addo sooner after the elections? It is for these lukewarm activists that I intend addressing today by this write-up.

They are to note that Nana Akuffo-Addo, the leadership of the NPP and all discerning Ghanaians who honestly voted for a change of government but find their votes stolen, need their support more now than it was never before. Searching their conscience, they should be aware that it has never been good to abandon your friend when he really critically needs your services. “A friend in need is a friend indeed”. This golden adage has helped me relate better to friends in the past, today and so will it be tomorrow and in the future. It means a friend who helps out when we are in trouble is a true friend - unlike others who disappear when trouble arises.

Nana Akuffo-Addo and Dr. Bawumia’s ship has only run aground owing to the intentional mischievous acts by the Chairman of the Electoral Commission, Dr. Kwadwo Afari-Gyan. The ship has not broken apart; it will soon surely be salvaged, to continue its golden voyage carrying Ghanaians to the land of hope, joy, Free quality & Senior High School education. In this land, there is no more gargantuan corruption, mediocrity and incompetence in daily exhibition by the leaders as it is now prevalent in Ghana under the Mills/Mahama-led and Mahama/Amissah-Arthur-led governments.

I am sad to hear on air that friends like Kwame Homerton, Kwame Peckham and probably Kofi Tottenham are so heartbroken by Election 2012 results to the extent that they have decided to recluse. I want them out of whichever shells or lairs they have recoiled into. Their invaluable services are needed by Ghanaians more today than it has ever been.

Kwadwo Afari-Gyan for reasons only known to him and his outfit, aided and abetted John Dramani Mahama to rig the elections to become the inglorious President of Ghana. Nevertheless, the scale of the electoral fraud that saw Dramani Mahama as President of Ghana will be uncovered to chase him out of his current position.

No matter how much gold they steal to sell to bribe anyone, God will chase him out of power provided the NPP and all discerning Ghanaians will remain RESOLUTE as revealed to KOFI BASOAH in his dream of which I have advertised so much in my previously published articles on Ghanaweb, Modernghana.com and Spyghana.com.

I do not want NPP supporters to be quitters at this stage. Do not feel intimidated by the roguish attitudes put up by the NDC and their rented press. They have by their nefarious activities been able to silence once the vociferous lone Ghanaian vigilante, Martin Amidu. They should never be able to silence people like Kwame Homerton, Kwame Peckham, Kofi Tottenham and the likes of Rockson Adofo, the firebrand son of Kumawu.

I stand for JUSTICE in which lies PEACE. May DJ Sources of Sources radio UK not be scared to play on air “Equal Rights” song by the late Peter Tosh? This song carries a message to Ghanaians at this critical phase of our contestation of the presidential election results.

All reasonable Ghanaians are invited by me to rally behind Nana Akuffo-Addo, Dr. Bawumia and Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey, in their quest to ensure the votes of Ghanaians count. Do not stay on the fence with arms folded around the chest drooping while Kwadwo Afari-Gyan with his band of Ghanaian version of the Arabian thieves (Ali Baba and his forty thieves) rob you in broad daylight.

My greetings to Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, Hopeson Adorye, Peter (UK), Nana Yaw Sarpong, Chairman Atta Krufi, Owusu-Boakye,Titus-Glover, Adwoa Safo , Ursula Owusu, Kwaku Burger of Asante-Juaben and Kofi Basoah (the Dreamer of Hope).
