Bature’s Desperate Publications Will Not Stop Konadu

Our attention has been drawn to a comment in the newspaper Al Hajj owned by Alhaji Bature, the managing Editor about the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu interventing to stop Mrs Konadu Rawlings from contesting. We believe his comments are misleading and part of the propaganda war being waged by himself, Kwesi Pratt, and Kobby Fiagbe and Raymond Archer desperate journalists struggling so hard to maintain their payrolls at National Security and the Castle because they know Nana Konadu Rawlings the disciplinarian that she is, will end this practice if elected. If there is anything at all. It is time the NDC delegates vote for a leader who will end this internal corruption and misuse of funds given to the likes of Bature and others and channel these funds to be used to create jobs and opportunity in the country for our young men and women. NDC needs a leader, not a preacher and cash distributor. Mr Bature!
We NDC members who support Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings respect the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu and every other chief in Ghana. Our candidate Mrs Konadu Rawlings saw it fitting to grace the occasion of Asantehene’s Birthday an invitation the sitting President did not honour, for reasons best known to himself. The last time we checked, Otumfuo Osei Tutu is not a card bearing member of the NDC so why is he being dragged into an internal party contest? It is very interesting that Ahaji Bature and others were vehemently opposed to the Asantehene playing a role in bringing peace to Dagbon and in finding the Ya Na killers because he was an Akan chief, yet they are rooting for him to be a mediator to prevent Mrs Rawlings from standing. At this rate snakes will also become journalists ! such is the breathtaking hypocrisy and double tongue of so called opinion leaders.

Mrs Konadu Rawlings will face all the obstacles ,smearing and insults from Alhaji Bature and others with her head held high and will overcome. If President Mills and his supporters have nothing to fear ;after all the President claims he has won already why wont he put it to the test and let the party decide? What are Alhaji Bature and his masters afraid of?

Nana Konadu Rawlings will line up before delegates in Sunyani On the 8th of July,2011.We will put our hope and trust in those delegates to decide who will lead the party in 2012, not latter day newspaper owners and microphones of President Mills.
