We live in a crazy world, a world full of bad things happening each day, we live in a lonely world, no wonder "The Lord God said, “It isn’t good for the man to live alone. I need to make a suitable partner for him.” - Genesis 2:18 (CEV).
The truth is, no matter how bad my food tastes if I have a friend who is ready to eat with me, I don't care about the taste anymore, No matter how down I am, if I have a friend who can encourage me, this life is worth living.
So marriage is such an important journey one need in this life but as far as it is something which can make you, it can also break you. You know yourself but the question is, how well do you know the person you are bringing on board?
It may surprise you to know lots of people are in love but not together. Its amazing to know people are married to someone but don't believe in their calling, ministry, vision, idea, etc.
Why is it that when you tell a person that there are 400 billion stars in the sky they’ll believe you, but when you tell them a bench is wet, they have to touch it first?
Lots of relationships are struggling or on the verge of breaking because one partner doesn't believe in the other.
In life what you believe has more power than what you dream or wish or hope for. You become what you believe. So if you think nothing good can come out from your partner, then no matter how good they become, you can't see it.
A gardener is one person I admire, in spite of unseasonal rains and unexpected weather of all sorts, a gardener still plants and tends what they have planted, believing that good weather will come.
A wise partner knows the importance of speaking life into the spouse. If you love your partner: believe in them, encourage them, and be their peace.
Love is easy to manage and easy to handle but the hardest parts of love are: sacrifice, acceptance, forgiveness, belief, forgetting and trust. Consequently, we have doubts, worries, expectations resulting in betrayal, cheating, playing games, etc.
Loving someone should be enough reason to believe in your relationship, to stand by it through the worst of times, to have faith in your strength as a couple and to never give up on each other;
Enough to spend the rest of your life with your partner, to be there for them when they need or want you and never, ever want to leave them or live without them.
In conclusion "Show love in everything you do". - 1 Corinthians 16:14 (CEV)
Please share with your friends, someone out there needs this.
