Change the child and change the world

Everybody has been thinking about how to change the world and save it, hence they come out with different ideas and more advanced innovations. But they all forget that, they would be no more one day and after their death the children today would be their replacement.

A lot of our attention had not been drawn to the fact that our tomorrow (future) depends on today's children. If the world would be the way we want it to be, then this is the time for us to take a critical look at the Child today.

The untold fact is that the Child today is the future President, Minister, Pastor, Doctor, etc who would be making a decision for the well being of the country. If this is established, then we have a lot of work to do.

I am the kind of person who likes to play with children and because of that, they are mostly seen around me. I usually make a lot of observations when with these little children and I want to use this platform to bring to the notice of other people.

Children are usually moved by what they see, hear and are told. I was with some children and one of them stepped and someone's feet mistakenly but something happened that actually surprised me. The moment that child stepped on the other, the one who was stepped started insulting the other in Fanti as she was crying as "kwasia 3hu etsia me nan do?".

Then I told the one crying and insulting the other friend that, if I ever hear her say such word I will beat her and hence will not by toffees for her. On the other hand, when I asked for who stepped on her foot, the child who did so denied that he isn't the one who did that even though all the children were saying he was the one who did that.

I then saw that if this spirit of lying is not taken from him and he grows with it, there will be trouble in the near future. I told him this little child not to do those kind of things again.

So any moment any of them insults the other, I called hear is we are going to tell Bra Justice that you are insulting someone. If we actually want to change the world, then we have to start it right away with the children we have now. Let me shift a bit into the Holy Bible when Jesus Christ told his Disciples" verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of Heaven"-(Mathew 18:3).

People all over the world had been complaining about some unfair behaviour of others at the workplace, politics, etc. Some of these behaviours include lateness, favouritism, bribery and corruption, and others.

Even though many NGO's and individuals campaign against these inhuman behaviours, the more they campaign against it, the higher it continues. As all these people advocate for this behaviour to stop, we all forget that the future belongs to the children we have today.

I always say, "IF ANYONE WANTS TO CHANGE THE WORLD TOMORROW, LET HIM CHANGE THE LITTLE CHILD TODAY AND WE WOULD BE SURPRISED TO SEE HOW THE WORLD WOULD BE CHANGED TOMORROW, EVEN IN OUR ABSENCE".
