Character assassination – a genetic signature of Fiifi Kwertey

Fiifi Kwertey Fiifi Kwertey

By Fadi Dabbousi

Fiifi Kwertey, the loud mouthed charlatan of the NDC propaganda team seems to be unrepentant in his zeal to expose his baboonish mannerisms that have taken on a more intense dimension of hatred towards mighty and elderly statesmen in our country.

He seems to belong to the group of people whom the President, John Dramani Mahama, described as having short memories. Eight years ago, when Ghanaians voted to suffer under the NDC, Fiifi Kwertey had no university degree, and, as far as I am concerned, there is no problem with that.

However, during his vetting for the position of Deputy Minister, he was exposed by a revelation that he, Fiifi Kwertey, had enrolled in a university in Britain and was commuting to and fro on a weekly basis at the expense of the suffering nation, bleeding the economy into comatose.

Nobody would have had an issue with that if he were footing the bills from his own pocket, but at the time when he could hardly afford to buy used underwear, how do we suppose that he was going to afford such a fiscally reckless move of commuting between Accra and London to attend lectures on weekends?

The government of the NDC must be made to answer for this wanton waste of the nation’s resources on this double-barrel-nosed hypocrite who takes pride in insulting his elders, especially those whose responsible actions over the years have accorded him the ability to practise free speech and abuse it too. I heard him barking a few days ago trying futilely to bring the hard earned image of Nana Akufo-Addo into disrepute. It is an indictment on John Dramani Mahama to allow the imbecile fiifi kwertey to make such ludicrous comments that serve to destroy the already battered image of the NDC.

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is one of the most famous heavyweight lawyers Ghana has ever produced post independence, if not the best, having trained dozens of lawyers and having equally won landmark cases that have earned him more mentions in law report books than even the late Professor Atta Mills.

As a matter of fact, a quote from a landmark case that he won, of course, is engraved on a plaque on the wall of the court for everyone to go and verify. Nana Akufo-Addo was the lawyer for Otumfo Asantehene Osei Tutu II, Alhaji Asuma Banda, and many others whom he served on a pro-bono basis; in other words for free. He was the lawyer for the fathers of many young lost imbeciles in the NDC government of today whose freedoms were guaranteed by the selfless backing of the legal brains of Nana Addo.

In addition to all that, he was the Attorney General of Ghana, a position that cannot be occupied by any other than an accomplished lawyer, where he over qualifies. His chambers are the most popular in the legal arena and most sought after. His name has reached as far as the peripheries of earth, and is well known to all the doyens of international politics and many more within the realms of corporate businesses and investments.

If after achieving all that, the petty Fiifi Kwertey still wants to bark, he should afford himself a few minutes to delve into his pedigree. Maybe his confusion and imbecility are genetically embedded in him which, in that case, will clear him for a psychiatric assessment at the Pantang hospital where the General Secretary of his party, the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, it was said, once had an abode.

This is where I will retire my pen on this issue, once and for all. Let the wise be informed and the fools blow their horns, for it is said that “empty barrels make the most noise’.

On the issue of Hassan Ayariga, the disqualified stooge of the NDC, who was on Nana Akufo-Addo, ridiculing him for living in his father’s house, the least said about him the better.

So I shall summarise his ridiculousness briefly. Is it a sin to live in one’s father’s house especially if it was bequeathed to him? But Nana Akufo-Addo has his own properties, so what is this clown talking about? Hassan Ayariga, a janitor turned pizza delivery boy could not provide a viable, verifiable, and current address to the EC when he filled his abomination forms, sorry I mean nomination forms, which earned him his disqualification. The very fact that he descended on Madam Charlotte Osei shows the kind of buffoonish upbringing he had.

In fact his name should be blacklisted from running for the highest office of the land. Someone like him would be the curse of civilisation should he be found anywhere close to a position of responsibility, which automatically becomes a position of tomfoolery with his assumption of same.

Some of the comedians who assisted him plagiarise the NPP manifesto were stupid enough not to edit some parts therein that clearly exposed the disgusting and foul shenanigans of NDC and Hassan Ayariga.

After all, was it not this man who openly confessed to taking money from the President to insult and harass Nana Aklufo-Addo? In another development, it was alleged that he stated that Madam Charlotte Osei had also taken money from the President to behave suspiciously NDC. That I cringed at and took with a pinch of salt, because this fine lady wouldn’t do something like that! Or would she?

A friend of mine wrote, and I quote, “Why does this man look like he’s swallowed a coconut without knowing the size of his anus?” I burst into laughter, but on a more sober note, “yeah, really, why that toothless look?”
