Crisis Looms in Anloland as Patrick Agboba is readied to be sworn in as Awomefia
URGENT MESSAGE TO THE ROYAL AXIMEHADA FAMILY (HOME & ABROAD)
Hello all,
It has come to my attention that there is to be an out-dooring on the 21st of February 2011, of Patrick Agboba as Awomefia of Anlo.
If this is a decision by the elders of the three lineages of Togbui Sri I, then congratulations are in order. You have done well for finally arriving at a resolution and Anlos can have a King.
However, reports reaching me indicate this is a decision unilaterally taken by members of the Aximehada lineage. The two other lineages, Fui Agbeve and Adika Drafor, do not agree with it.
The grounds of objection by the two other lineages is: Agboba is NOT a descendant of Torgbui Sri I, and therefore CANNOT be nominated and installed as Awoamefia of Anlo.
Now that is a very serious objection and anybody who cares about the welfare of the Royal Family cannot ignore it. We cannot have an IMPOSTER ruling in Anlo in our name. It would be criminal negligence on our part to allow that to happen.
For this reason, the out-dooring of Patrick Agboba as Awomefia should be put on hold until he can prove his legitimacy as a member of our family.
I would also take this opportunity to caution the Aximehada family members who are acting unilaterally without consultation with the two other lineages to STOP what they are doing. Please understand that your actions would destroy the Royal family permanently.
Let me point out the following you may have ignored in your haste to put Agboba on the stool.
1. He is too old. This means Agboba is almost near to his grave. If he is installed as King and dies in 6 months or within a few years, given the Awomefia is rotated between the Bate and Adzofia clan, his short reign would give the Bate clan the opportunity to install the next Awomefia. If they put a much younger person on the throne, that is going to keep the Sri lineage out in the cold for many years to come.
2. The next point to consider is as I mentioned, his questionable lineage. If he is allowed to ascend the throne without proper verification of his legitimacy. This sets a precedent and opens up a whole lot of problems for the Royal Adzovia family. It means in future, people who are not members of the Royal family can contest the throne.
3. The third point to take on board is again I mentioned, those acting unilaterally within the Royal family would destroy it. We have to learn to do things TOGETHER. The strength of the Royal family lies in the UNITY OF THE FAMILY. Anything that threatens this unity means we do not have a Royal family anymore. If persons within the family by their actions allow non-members of the Royal family to impose a King on Anlo, other family members would not be forgiving of the lineage that allowed the usurper in. Therefore, they would not want future dealings with that lineage. When that happens, it would fragment the Royal family and effectively lead to it's demise. We can't allow that to happen. The Royal family should be preserved at all cost. Therefore, family members who by their actions threaten it's existence should be thrown out if necessary.
4. Finally I want to ask those within the Aximahada family whose actions are damaging the fabric of the Royal Adzofia family to STOP. Some of us do not like what we are hearing. STOP speaking for us until you have a quorum of Aximehada family members who back your decisions. Failing that, there is every chance your actions would cause a rift in the Aximahada family itself and would damage it seriously.
I have put this message together hastily because of the urgency of the matter. Please distribute it to all members of the Aximehada family.
Don't sit down and ignore what is being done in your names in Anloga. By not acting, your silence is tacit agreement to the unlawful acts of the few. Thereby, making you guilty. Act now to stop the unlawful actions being taken in the name of the Aximehada family.
I will write again next week as I have a very IMPORTANT message I wish to share with the rest of the Royal Adzovia family. Until then, God be with you all.
Thank You
