Declaration by Nana Akufo Addo Causes His Rivals to Fidget. Why?

I cannot really get my head around why some Ghanaians are insanely unpredictable and dishonest. Today, I am going to spare the NDC with their agents and assigns the rod but not the NPP.

?

The downfall, and the failure, of the NPP, to make any meaningful inroads into political prominence is not Nana Akufo Addo but certain malevolent members within the party. Rational human beings the world over that watched the live telecast of Ghana Supreme Court hearing on Election 2012 petition filed by Nana Akufo Addo and Co. could sensibly tell who the winner of presidential election 2012 was. They all say William Atuguba and his colleagues rigged the verdict in favour of John Mahama. Intelligent people who could analyse and relate facts to situations, all agreed that Nana won the case but the most corrupt judicial system we have in operation in Ghana, the bane of Ghana’s development, did the unthinkable.

?

Therefore, for members of NPP out of their selfish and myopic aspirations to come out to sanction the disgraceful verdict pronounced by the Supreme Court is most unfortunate, if not regrettable. Have we not been witnessing the disastrous effect of John Mahama usurping Nana Addo, in the unprecedented corruption, economic failure, etc. engulfing the country? I know these failures of Mahama sit well with those that stand to benefit materialistically e.g. Yaw Boateng Gyan, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah and the wolves in lamb skin within the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

?

May I once again ask if the NPP has in her internal political party Constitution a clause banning others from contesting for certain positions once others go before them to declare their interests in those very positions? Hopefully, they will answer in the negative. Then I ask, why this hoo-ha from within the party by certain elements from the camp of my own Tweneboa Koduah Secondary Schoolmate, Dr Kwabena Konadu Apraku? I personally find their behaviour irresponsible, selfish and very unhelpful to the cause of NPP securing the presidency in future.

?

There is no age limit to doing politics or practising law. Moreover, age is only a number. Some people may be older but are much wiser than the younger ones. A case in point is John Mahama, the current President of Ghana. He proudly claimed he was young so Ghanaians must vote for him. Presently, many a discerning Ghanaian regrets the mess he is making at the presidency, fumbling, and sinking the economy of Ghana by his exhibited youthful inexperienced management credentials.

?

Have these Nana’s detractors not heard the wise men say, "Old age is an indication of wisdom" and "Grey hair is a repository of wisdom?" It does not take only old trees to fall or break but also, the young ones. Therefore, as long as Nana Akufo Addo is old, fit, sane, and dynamic and dedicated to be of service to humanity, his people and country, he is more than welcome to contest for not only the NPP flagbearership, but also, the presidency in any future elections.

?

Come out with your policies, visions and what you can do to resuscitate Ghana from her corruption-induced coma, stabilise the economy and advance it than to needlessly attack Nana Akufo Addo. He is not the one ruining the party but those of you exhibiting your ridiculously selfish tendencies retrogressive to the chances of NPP landing the presidency and government.

?

We know you all, the NDC-paid agents snitching on NPP from within. Anyone who is corrupt feels uneasy when he hears that Nana Akufo Addo will be contesting future elections; that is my feeling.
