Don’t be perturbed by the prophesies by the Ghanaian election-frenzy prophets

Since year 2012 or thereabout, most so-called Ghanaian prophets have not only become prophets of doom but prophets of general elections results.

Come any election year, one will see these numerous election-frenzy prophets and numerologists come out to prophesy, but not predict, who will win the election, both for the president and political party.

Each will prophesy in favour of whom, thus, presidential candidate and political party, God has allegedly revealed to them.

If the one and only Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscient God has given them those prophecies, why is it that each tells it differently and in favour of different persons and political parties? I personally can’t get it.

God the Almighty is not a liar, for that we believe, and I know right from my infancy. Why are these Ghanaian so-called prophets trying their hardest to make him look a liar?

Currently, some of these prophets and numerologists are prophesying victory for Mr John Dramani Mahama of NDC while others are prophesying in favour of Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia of NPP.

Which is which? And which one do we have to believe?

Should it be the case of wait until the elections take place and the results announced, similarly as in Matthew 13:29-30 on “The parable of the weeds”? In that parable, it is said by the farm owner, in this case Jesus, 29‘No,’ he said, ‘if you pull the weeds now, you might uproot the wheat with them. 30Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time, I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat into my barn”.

Until the final elections are announced, we can hardly tell the fake prophets from the genuine ones.

When they are not only happily but shamelessly publicly prophesying doom about some important personalities in the country, instead of approaching those individuals in private, I pause to ask, what do they expect to gain? Fame, power, wealth or what, I should like to know.

They are not different in year 2024, an election year in Ghana.

Fellow Ghanaians, I will entreat you not to fall for what may be classed as prophetic charlatanry but to focus on your campaign until victory is yours.

If they had come out to tell us they are predicting, instead of prophesying following a revelation made to them by God, I will have understood them. In that case, their prediction may come to pass or fail, and no-one will blame them for it. However, if their prophesy fails, they have surely made God a liar, if not themselves.

Whatever prophecies are there in favour or against the NPP and Dr Bawumia, I will only advise and encourage them to work twice as hard, doing door to door campaign and going into the hinterlands. Go to every nook and cranny of the country to win voters for NPP and Dr Bawumia. All is not lost.

Despite the economic challenges facing the country that are but not peculiar to her but a world phenomenon, although many a Ghanaian blaming the NPP government for it, I shall still encourage NPP to work harder as I see a window for Dr Bawumia winning the election however little the margin is.

Don’t be persuaded or dissuaded by the favourable or unfavourable prophecies or predictions.

It is my hope that NPP and Dr Bawumia win the election come Saturday, 7 December 2024.

I am helping Dr Bawumia to break the 8. Now, Mr John Dramani Mahama is himself the 8. We shall break him and the obnoxious 8-yearly cyclical rotation of political power between the NPP and the NDC.

Is it possible to break both 8s? Yes, it is possible!

Then join the campaign wagon of the writer, Rockson Adofo, all ye fans, lovers, and family members to canvass for Dr Bawumia and NPP.

The road to victory is narrow, long, and tortuous but with God on our side coupled with hard work, it shall be well with us.

It is possible!
