It remains fresh in people’s minds the dubiousness of one person who willingly sought the downfall of candidate Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo during the campaign towards elections 2016. In fact, Joseph Siaw Agyepong saw himself as a demigod to brave the winds of change and challenge that His Excellency Nana Addo, could never become President.

Today, those of us who know the history of this assuming personality would clearly recognise the hypocrisy that has drenched him to the bone. Could it be that he had too many skeletons in his wardrobe that he dreaded the return of the NPP lest he be exposed for his true character? Maybe! Then again, it could be very plausible given the numerous contracts that he had signed with the rotten government of the NDC under the erstwhile Presidency of John Dramani Mahama of gross incompetence.

Let us start with the sole sourcing of Suba Infosolutions Ghana Limited, a service contract between them and Ghana Revenue Authority which was signed on April 18, 2015. The contents of the verbose document simply gave Joesph Siaw Agyepong, on a silver platter, a monthly income of 12.5% of all revenue collected from the telecom companies like MTN, Vodafone, Airtel, Tigo, and so on. For every minute of international calls, he would also get 0.0125 USD.

The rot in this contract stank everywhere. The fact that it was given on a sole sourcing arrangement made it suspicious. Other than that, this service was being provided by Afriwave Telecom Ghana Limited for FREE. This meant that Joseph Siaw Agyepong was the beneficiary of a parallel service that he got paid for, which another company was rendering free of charge in the first place.

If you are not bamboozled yet, here is the knockout punch: The NDC government was stealing from the nation through this person who became the conduit for syphoning precious Ghanaian blood. Because of his greed, Ghanaians became poorer, more destitute, and overburdened. But because of friends in high places, he seems to be covered. ‘Wo boa koraa!’

This is the same man hailing the sanitation initiatives of President Akufo-Addo, fighting his way through to grab more contracts. That will not happen, and if it does, we will expose the sides involved. It will never be under the sun that rises and sets on the Ghanaian horizon for as long as he is sitting on the nation’s money that was stolen, squandered, and hoarded in connivance with the rotten government of the immediate past President John Dramani Mahama.

EOCO, please, for the sake of mother Ghana, investigate Joseph Siaw Agyepong for fraud against the State. We shall submit copies of the said contract, and others that he acquired, for which he was paid that he did not service. What thievery!
